Mumbai: Exponent of the leading Kathak India and Padma Vibhushan Awardee, PT Birju Maharaj, died Monday morning after suffering a heart attack.
Doyen is 83 years old, who is Torchbearer from Kalka-Bindadin Gharana from Lucknow style Kathak, exhales the latter at Saket New Delhi Hospital.

Brijmohan Nath Misra was then shortened to be ‘BIRJI’.
