The star ‘Black Panther’ Letitia Wright was being hospitalized after maintaining a minor injury to the Boston set from the sequel to the film ‘Wakanda Forever’.
A spokesman Marvel said in a statement on Wednesday that the incident occurred when filming the action for the sequel.
Wright is expected to be released from the hospital soon.
Wright repeated his role as Shuri in ‘Wakanda Forever’, which was directed by Ryan Coogler.
The 27-year-old British actor was a breakout in the first film as a science-minded sister of the late Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa.
His injuries are not expected to delay production in sequels, which are scheduled to be released in July 2022.
The film is also the Bintang Daniel Kaluuya, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Michaela Coel, and more.
