Mysuru: Leopard for a five-year-old woman, trapped in a solar fence wire, was saved by the forester on Sunday.

The incident occurred in Mulluru Village near Jalahalli in Nanjangud Taluk when the leopard who roamed on Saturday night had tried to cross the wire when the front leg was caught in the wire.
The leopard has struggled to release his legs from the wire bound but failed.

On Sunday morning, villagers who watched the leopard who were caught on the wire immediately told the forestry department.
ACF Ravikumar along with staff rushed to the place and after using the Feline Tranquillizer freed from the wire.
Ravikumar’s assistant forest conservator said, “Leopard, who has suffered minor injuries, has been saved and given medical treatment.
