Kolhapur: A dog was killed by leopards in the Fort Panhala area in Kolhapur Regency on Saturday night.
According to the locals, they saw big cats in a residential area near the fort a few days ago.
Since then, the Ministry of Forestry Officials began the night patrol to encourage wild animals to go and avoid conflict with the locals.
Apart from all this effort, a dog owned by Dr.
Raj Holkar, was attacked by leopards.
The attack was recorded on a closed circuit television camera (CCTV) installed outside Holkar’s house.
