Chandrapur: A leopard killed a woman sleeping on the front yard of her house in Vhyad Village in Saoli Tehsil on Tuesday night.
This is the 27th human murder in a predatory attack on Chandrapur this year.
The victim, was identified as Ganghubai Gedam (61), living in the outskirts of the village on the outskirts of the forest under the range of Saoli.
The animal dragged a gedam body into the forest.
The body was found on Wednesday morning.
The Ministry of Forestry has warned villagers to be vigilant, while preventive measures are being implemented.
