Kalyan: Fear has gripped Ulhasnagar residents after the leopard was seen again in one city location.
A 11 year old girl saw a wild cat in the Subhash Nagar Tekdi area on Tuesday night, residents said.
When local residents told the Ministry of Forestry, officials had increased efforts to trap him, said source.
Leopard had previously been seen more than a month ago.
Officials said that it could arise from Junnar in Pune District and may lose his way through green patches, moved to Ulhasnagar through Badlapur and Ambernath.
Officials have asked locals not to dare alone at night until the early hours.
