SRINAGAR: Three weeks following a four-year-old woman was removed with a leopard from within the compound of her home colony in Ompora at Budgam area of J&K, authorities and sailors on Friday recovered her body by a nearby mulberry nursery.
The government quickly made a decision to remove the maneater.
Ada Yasir Mir was assaulted and removed by the leopard once she had been playing on Tuesday afternoon.
According to locals, there were also several leopards around the prowl at the area as there are nurseries of many government departments.
Officials blamed wildlife officials because of neglect as they’d already advised them (the officers ) regarding the motion of leopards in the region.
Shortly after the body has been recovered, Budgam deputy commissioner Syed Shahbaz Mirza suspended the selection officer of the wildlife division, Ompora, for dereliction of responsibility.
