Leopard Rescue Forest Officials, Cats from Well in Nashik

Nashik: Leopard and Face-looking cat after falling into a village in a village in Nashik Maharashtra district and the two cats were saved safely hours later by the Ministry of Forestry personnel, an official said on Monday.
The incident took place in Kankori Village under Sinnar Taluka, where the leopard might fall into the well while chasing a cat on Saturday night, he said.
The well is located on the farm one Ganesh Souble, Kankori residents.
Souble and other villagers heard the roar of Leopard out of the well at the beginning of Sunday morning and notify the Ministry of Forestry.
The two animals were saved safely from 25 to 30 feet well with the help of cranes at the end of the night by the Ministry of Forestry, the official said.
Leopard, who did not harm the cat during the face-off, then released in the original habitat, he added.
