Nagpur: After a while at the location of the Ordnance Factory, Ambajari, Leopard had returned to the reserve Ambazari forest.
Senior forest officers believe that the animal seems to have settled in the biodiversity park, spread in 758 hectares.
On July 9, security personnel had recorded Pugmark from Leopard at Factory.
On July 15, the leopard was again seen by security guards during hours.
It was the same Leopard Ambazari.
“Now, big cats have returned to Ambazari forests.
It was not only recorded in the camera trap but there was also a direct sighting to the patrol staff on 16 & 17 July,” Bharat Singh Hada, the Deputy Forest Conservator (DYCF), Nagpur.
The news of Leopard’s presence became a viral again when it was seen on Sunday night in a building less than construction by several residents near Kothari Layout, Kachimet, side by side with the Nagpur University campus at Amravati Road.
“The residents warned the police but in learning it, our team immediately reached the place and was found in place.
That the leopard was gone.
It’s around 10:30 a.m.,” said Hingna RFO Ashish Ninawe Hada said it seemed that the leopard had settled in Ambazari and Must shuffle between good areas have good vegetation.
Has moved peacefully and hasn’t damaged humans since it was seen on May 28 near the park in South Ambazari Road.
“With the presence of Leopard, opening the Ambazari Biodiversity Park for visitors raises risk.
Even though the leopard movement is mostly nocturnal, we must see people move in groups,” said Hada.
