Nagpur: Forest officials are wary of reports of leopard sightings on the factory campus for Friday morning.
The appearance was reported by residents near the number 3 gate, and the animal was seen towards the post office.
Honor Wildlife Warden Kundan Hate said the camera trap was being prepared and the official would keep the watch there, but it was a “known fact” that the leopard was present at the weapon factory and Ambazari belt.
The weaponry plant has told people and workers in the area to be vigilant and not face animals if seen.
In the city, officials are busy with crocodiles that are difficult to understand on the Nag River.
Hate said, “On Friday we installed signs there, telling people to be careful and not in the embankment.
We have prepared a camera trap but there is no apparition of crocodiles.” Officials will continue to monitor the area at least during A few days because if the crocodile looks again, they need to move forward with the plan to catch it.
