Leopard Terror in the range of Saoli, women are persecuted at home while sleeping

Written by news2in

Chandrapur: The problem of leopard from the Saoli range is once again broken into the house in the village of Wagholi Bite and this time, persecuting a woman who fell asleep on Tuesday.
This is the third human attack with the same leopard.
The animal has so far killed a woman and has persecuted the other two in the range of one week.
RFO, Range Saoli, VB Cambli said the leopard was first broken into the 70-year-old Mashakhentri Tulsabai livestock adjacent to his house.
The woman woke up with a fearful cattle and went to check the warehouse.
However, he failed to see the animal hiding in the dark in the same livestock.
He then returned and slept.
“The animal followed the woman to her house and killed several chickens before attacking her when she slept in a bed.
However, her tears surprised the cat and disappeared into the dark,” Cambli said.
The woman rushed to a rustic hospital in Saoli for emergency care in the morning.
Camarl claimed it was the same leopard who had terrorized people in half a dozen villages side by side.
The leopard had previously killed one gangubai gedam when he was sleeping on the front yard of his house in Village Vyhad and had dragged his body into the forest at night on July 13.
The next day, the same animal had persecuted Villal Gedam from Samda Village when he flushed plants on his farm.
RFO said villages such as Vyhad, Samda, Wagholi Bite, Konapur and Kapi were in the grip of fear due to leopard problems.
When the forest team keeps vigils in villages where the three incidents took place, the Beast targets other villages around it.
“The villages are only 2-3 kilometers away.
People have been warned to remain vigilant and lock their homes to avoid intrusion by troubled animals,” Cambli said.
The four cages have been arranged in a strategic location with bait in each of them trapping cat problems.
Two cages are more likely to be added in the next few days.
