Chandrapur: Adult Leopard was found dead in Dongargaon forest under the Sindewahi range on Thursday morning.
Forest officials after the main investigation have concluded that the leopard has died in battle with tigers.
The 7-year-old male leisure carcass was found in the forest near Chargaon’s badge during a routine patrol.

Therefore officials conclude that the animal might have died in a fight with tigers.
The carcass was shifted to the wooden depot in Sindewahi where Postmortem was carried out.
Veterinarians have collected viscera samples to confirm the cause of death.
The carcass was then burned before the witness.
