Letter: Female Leopard suspected of being a killer of a three-year-old girl in the village of Hanumantiya Songadh in the district but was finally locked up by the forest team on Saturday near the place.
Vaishnavi Bhham was persecuted to death on January 7 and his head and body was cut into pieces found from sugar cane farming nearby.
Leopard is about eight years the possibility will be kept either in the rescue center or shift to the zoo.
“It looks like the leopard will be released in the forest again.
Further action will be taken according to the direction of the department,” said a forest official.
The minor was lost when following his mother near their home on the outskirts of the village.
His father, Rahul, a laborer, has come to but to work with his family from Khargone Village of Madhya Pradesh.
A total of 10 cages and 10 trap cameras are installed around the place where the body is restored.
“Leopard the woman who was locked up was the same leopard who killed the girl.
His age and Pugmark fits the sign that we found from the place,” said a forest official.
