Nagpur: Hit hard in the first and second waves, today Vidarbha is probably the safety area in the state of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Three months after the second wave, the number of active cases in 11 districts in this region is less than 1% of the total active case of the state.
The State Public Health Department on Wednesday released a monthly report that highlighted the position of the right pandemic in the state.
There were 51,238 active cases in the state on August 31.
Among the 35 districts in the state, Pune District has the highest active case at 13,515.
A total of 17 districts have less than 100 cases, including 10 districts from Vidarbha.
Gondia has the lowest number among 35 districts with only two active cases followed by Wardha in third place with five active cases, Bhandara 4 (7 cases), Washim 5 (8 cases), Yavatmal 6 (8 cases), Akola 8 (20 cases ), Akola), Gadchiroli 11 (32 cases), Buldhana 13 (44 cases), Nagpur 16 (70 cases) and Amravati 17 (95 active cases).
Only the Chandrapur district has more than 100 active cases.
The exact number of active cases is 178.
Thus, active cases in 11 districts are 469, namely 0.91% of the total active case of the state.
Vidarbha is the first to face a very contagious and deadly second wave.
In the first week of June, the second wave ended.
After that the situation improved with each month passed.
Among the 35 districts, Ahmednagar had a weekly growth rate of 0.24% highest.
Seven districts in the region, including Nagpur, did not have a weekly growth rate.
Amravati, Buldhana, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli are in position 19, 20, 21 and 22 with a weekly growth rate of 0.1%.
At the end of July, five districts; Nagpur, Yavatmal, Wardha, Bhandara and Gondia, have a 0% weekly growth rate.
Five districts were at 0.1%; Amravati, Akola, Washim, Buldhana and Chandrapur, while Gadchiroli is at 0.2%.
As far as concerning the level of weekly testing (TPR), Pune District recorded a 6.15% high of 35 districts.
The weekly TPR nine districts in the region including Nagpur are below 1%.
The TPR weekly from the Nagpur district was 0.17% on August 31.
Bulldhana has a highest weekly TPR 1.44% among the 11 Vidarbha regencies but in 15th place in the state.
Washim weekly TPR is 1.05%.
Wardha district has a second lowest weekly TPR 0.05% in the state.
At the end of July, the weekly TPR Nagpur district was 0.19%, which is another indicator of the improving situation.
At that time, the weekly TPR nine districts were below 1%.
Akola is in 18th place with 1.37% weekly TPR and Gadchiroli has 1.09%.
Although some cases and zero weekly growth rates, Nagpur Regency is in the fifth place among 35 districts as far as the number of tests concerned.
A total of 5,59,556 tests are carried out in accordance with the population of 10 lakh.
At the end of July, Nagpur Regency was in second place with 5,33,644 tests per 10 population lakh.
In vaccination, the performance of Nagpur Regency decreases to a certain extent compared to other districts.
Nagpur was in eighth place among 35 districts in the state with the first dose given to 9,48,239 people, namely 59.95% of the total people who qualified above 45 years at the end of July.
Gondia was in fourth place with 2,89,133 people (66.42%) and Bhandara in seventh position with 2.31,105 people (60.89%).
The highest is Kolhapur with 9.45,948 (74.28%).
In the age group 18-44, the Gondia was in third place with the first dose of 1.59,991 people (24.83%) and Nagpur was in fourth place with 5,76,969 people (24.64%) vaccinated.
As on August 31, Nagpur has sneaked into the ninth and gondia position to sixth in the 45-plus category.
Bhandra has increased to third place.
In the age group of 18-44 years, Nagpur continued in fourth place, Bhandara increased to a third of the fifth and Gondia to fifth place.
