Mumbai: For the second day in a row, the state added below 800 Covid-19 cases, while death continued to remain below 20 for the fifth day.
The state added 766 cases and 19 deaths, took the total case to 66.31 lakh and death to 1,40,766.
The city enrolled 190 cases on Tuesday, taking counting from March 2020 to 7.6 lakh so far.

The total toll in Mumbai has reached 16,311 so far.
“While less tests are done from usual, the rate of infection is very low in the city so that the number is not possible to rise further now,” said BMC official.
Twice numbers have increased to 2,526 days, and the weekly growth rate of infection remains 0.03% over the past month.
While H West Ward (Bandra) has the highest growth rate in the city at 0.05% and 1,279 days of doubling, the lowest is 0.01% at B Ward (Dongri), with 10,000 days to double.
After 10 consecutive days from zero case, B Ward registered one case on Saturday and Sunday.
State officials said there were nearly 12 districts that had not reported one death in recent weeks, while most of the districts reported death in one digit in a month.
“The situation is very controlled.
However, given the waves in cases in many European countries, we cannot drop our guards,” the official said.
He said the district had been asked to test testing so that every surge was not reported.
