New Delhi: Amid the chaos in the Punjab Congress, the head of the State country Navjot Singh Sidhu on Friday said he would “not spare anyone” if the leadership did not allow him to make a decision.
“I have told the high command that if you do not let me make a decision, I will not spare anyone (ent se enter Dunga steel) …
I do not want to be the exhibition,” said Sidhu firmly with the tension with the Congress leadership.
“The decision should be taken.
No state can develop without the industry.
The international trade must be initiated.
People of Punjab are desperate.
If I had to put my life on the line, I will not back down,” said Sidhu.
The statement comes in the backdrop Sidhu counselors Mali Malwinder Singh quit the post after controversial comments on Kashmir.
Congress has given an ultimatum to Sidhu to fire advisers.
Meanwhile, Congress sought to play down comments Sidhu, said that heads of state are free to take their decisions in the norms and constitution of the party.
