Hyderabad: The High Court on Monday ordered judgment on the death of the custodian of the woman Dalit Mariamma in Addagudur in Police Rachakonda Comperions.
Chairman of Judge Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice A Rajasheker Reddy heard the Advocate General BS Prasad, who gave a court about the steps taken by the Government and Commissioner Rachakonda Mahesh Bhagwat until now.
According to the direction by the court, CBI SP Cephas Kalyan and Bhagwat appeared in front of him.
AG Prasad said that Police Commissioner Rachakonda oversaw the investigation into the case of Mariamma’s death and reject three policemen – sub-inspectors and two policemen, which was found responsible for the death of the woman.
“Not only the dismissal of the service, we have even ordered a criminal case against the police accused both under the provisions of the IPC and also certain parts of SC / STS (prevention of space) acting.
We have also provided work to Kin Mariamma,” said AG and urged the court to maintain an investigation with state police.
“If this bench still feels that separate agencies must examine it, this problem may have to be entrusted to CID,” AG appealed.
The state police have registered spectacular progress in the police matters with its friendly police method and at this stage, it would be better to keep the probe within the scope of the state police to instill confidence in them, said AG.
“We will not avoid anyone whose involvement is found in the incident,” BS Prasad said.
For demand from the bench at the current CBI workload, the attorney General N Rajeswara Rao told the bench that the two CBI Counsel K Surender and CBI SP Kalyan were in front of the court.
Surender said that they were ready to investigate this problem if the court entrusted them with the task.
The bench said it would immediately pass the appropriate order.
