Letter: Nearly 10,000 police along with support staff have become representatives on the streets of the letter to maintain peace and ensure the immersion fly of Ganesha is smooth on Sunday.

Overall, seven deputy commissioners (DCP), 10 Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), 30 police inspectors (PI), 60 police subspected (PSI) and 500 police had been diaularly to help city police in bandobast.
An additional strength of eight state reserve police companies (SRP) and one company force action Rapid (RAF) also served bandobast.
Bandobast by 3,700 police will also be supervised by two additional police commissioners, 7 DCP, 18 ACP, 60 PI, 190 PSI.
“The police will maintain strict bandobiast during dyeing and we work in coordination with all stakeholders.
People must celebrate the festival while strictly observing Covid guidelines,” said Ajay Tomar, Commissioner of the City Police.
