With 99,997 the percentile in the Jee Mains exam, Tanay will now appear for Jee Advance which will be held in October.
“Very challenging for me to manage studies during a pandemic at first I find it difficult to learn online.
But it is gradually all enhanced and I can focus properly,” said Tanay, an English school student R M Maheshwari.
Vineet Tayal’s son, a businessman and anita, a home maker, Tanay scored 95.6 percent in the class XII exam recently.
His younger sister Tanisha, a class IX student, is preparing for a competitive exam too.
Tanay took over 250 tests pretending before appearing at Jee Mains, which he claimed to have helped him during preparation.
“I hope to enter IIT, which is my dream institute,” he said.
“Tanay is a brilliant student and has scored above 99 percentile marks in the four main jee tests.
He secured the 59th rank in this country in the aggregate results announced on Wednesday,” said Nehchal Singh Hanspal, Central Head, Career Institute Allen, letter.
