Surat: Leading Letter Diamantaire Savji Dholakia and his family have bought Housing Housing Property Rs 185 Crore at Worli Sea Face in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Dholakia’s exports Hare Krishna (HK) bought a six-story property, Panhar Bungalow, who was previously owned by Essar Group.
The property is 20,000 sq ft registered in the name of Ghanshyam Dholakia, sister Savji.
The building has around 15 apartments.
“We are looking for some property to accommodate our family staff and members.
We bought it from Essar and being at the location of the workplace and our office can be easily achieved,” Daunia Toi said.
The Dholak family is a dudhala native in the Amreli district.
Hare Krishna Exports has an annual turnover of Rs 7,000 Crore from the export of diamonds and jewelry making.
Initially, they had established a diamond polishing unit in the city before expanding its operations to Mumbai and around the world for the past 30 years.
“Our manufacturing unit is located in the Santacruz Sez Electronic Export Zone (Seepz) and office in the Kurla bandra complex.
We already have several residential properties in Mumbai.
But this property will accommodate more employees and family members,” added Dholakia.

Dholakia has also developed water sports activities in their home village in Amreli.
