Letter: textile brokers offer to sell kidneys to offset losses

Letter: A textile broker was tricked by almost Rs 15 lakh after several fishing people to sell their kidneys and promised at Rs four crore for organ.
Cyber ​​Crime Crime Resources said the victim Arbaz Rana (25), a resident of Nanpura, alleged that he saw advertisements on websites that offered RS four crore for the kidneys.
Rana told the police that because of the financial crisis, he decided to sell his kidney and make money to pay debts.
Trusting the website, Rana called the number given through WhatsApp on September 2020.
The woman at the other end introduced itself as Dr.
Shilpa Kumari from Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru.
The police claimed that it was a false identity given by the woman.
Then, the shutter was contacted by a different person on the phone and email.
Criminals make an email ID that looks similar to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
They convinced the shutter that he would get RS two crore before the kidney contribution and the remaining amount.
They demand payment of various costs and believe in them, the shutter pays money in various transactions through online payments.
The defendant continued to demand money after that Rana realized that he had been cheated.
