Letter: City health officials have been heard alert after several positive Covid-19 cases began to be reported during last week.
On Friday, 11 positive cases were reported in which five cities came from two families.
Two more positive cases reported from the Saurya Palace in Ghod Don Road took a total new case reported in the last two days to four.
In neighboring Green Avenue Apartment, three positive cases were reported, all from the same family.
“After a long gap, some positive cases were reported from the same family.
This is a trend at the beginning of the second wave.
People must be more careful and be vigilant to prevent infection,” a Health Officer of the Municipal Corporation (SMC) told TII.
None of the new Covid patients showed severe symptoms and did not require hospitalization.
However, the spread of infection in the same family maintains healthy health officials.
“Even though positive people are not seriously ill but some infected family members are a worrying trend.
People must avoid crowded places and follow the Covid-19 guidelines tightly,” the official added.
