Leverkusen Signal 16-year-old Danish wunderkind Sertdemir

LEVERKUSEN (Germany): Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen have signed up 16-year-old Danish wunderkind Zidan Sertdemir in Nordsjaelland before 2024, it was announced Tuesday.
The central midfielder is really a Denmark Under-17 global and will train using an first-team squad under new head trainer Gerardo Seoane when pre-season begins in early July.
“Zidan Sertdemir includes a unique gift, he’s been on our radar for 3 decades,” explained Leverkusen sports manager Simon Rolfes.
“We see good potential in Zidan and think he can make the quality in soccer.
“That is the reason why we are adding him training with the primary team right away.” Sertdemir was reportedly being chased by Arsenal and Ajax, while Leverkusen’s Bundesliga competitions Wolfsburg, Moenchengladbach and Hoffenheim were tracking him.
Leverkusen ended sixth in Germany’s best flight last year to qualify for its Europa League.
