BAKU (Azerbaijan): Seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton called Thursday for greater aid for young athletes coping with media responsibilities following four-time Grand Slam winner tennis player Naomi Osaka withdrew in the French Open mentioning her emotional wellbeing.

“The way that they responded wasn’t good with all the nice and someone discussing their private mental wellbeing and after being fined for this, which was not cool.
I believe that they might have certainly managed it , I am sure.
I expect that they will have a deep dip right into it and get a better way to browse later on,” Hamilton explained.
Hamilton said he’d felt overwhelmed by websites duties around the time that he combined F1 in 2007 if he was 22.
“Once I was young, I had been thrown to the pit and that I was not given any advice or support.
And everything I do understand is thatyou understand, if kids are coming from, they are facing the identical thing because I did.
And I do not always know whether that’s the most appropriate for them,” Hamilton explained.
“I believe we will need to be encouraging more and I think that it should not be a situation where you are pressured.
“For instance, together with Naomi’s situation, she did not feel comfy for her personal wellbeing to not do anything.
And the backlash is absurd.”
