New Delhi: Delhi Lieutenant Governor of Anil Baijal on Friday rejected the recommendation of the Minister Arvind Kejriwal to eliminate weekend wednesday in the national capital.
LG urged the AAM AAM AADMI (AAP) party – the Delhi government led to maintain the status quo until the Covid situation increased.
However, LG approved the state government proposal to allow private offices to function with 50 percent of staff.
Each decision about lifting weekend hours can be taken so the Covid-19 situation in Delhi increases further.
Earlier on that day, Kejriwal urged LG to allow private offices to operate at a capacity of 50% and remove a strange system even on the market together by releasing weekend hours.
Weekend hours were forced given the increase in Covid cases and remained in place starting at 10pm Friday and until Monday 5 in the morning.
Delhi on Thursday reported 12,306 cases of Covid-19 fresh and 43 deaths more due to viral diseases, while the level of progress was dipped to 21.48 percent, according to data distributed by the City Health Department.
