New Delhi: BJP leaders on Friday took friction at Rahul Gandhi on Twitter locking his account, said he had shown the door from the only place he was active, and that he should be aware of the Indian law, which forbade revealing the identity of rape victims.
“One day, when the same company marks Sambit Patra, you all celebrate, forget that life comes a full circle.
You reveal the identity of rape victims.
So your account has been blocked.
Tell it hard and then protest and preach,” Secretary General BJP BL Santthosh tweeted.
The party said Rahul had to use the rules of new social media introduced by the Modi government to recover his account.
MP BJP Tejasvi Surya said the same congress cried hoarse and attacked the government when framing new rules to “empower” social media users.
BJP spokesman and MP Anil Baluni Hospital said Rahul did not need to drag BJP and the government into this problem.
“It’s between him and Twitter.
I failed to understand why he gave the name of the government,” said Baluni, added, “Instead of playing the game blamed, Rahul should admit that he has committed a crime.” As a senior leader of the National Party, Rahul should be Realizing the consequences of revealing the identity of rape victims.
“He opposed the law he had never revealed regret.
Instead, his party leaders did it again, which proved that the Congress did not respect the land law,” he said.
