Noida: The gang that looted commuter after offering them the elevator in the car was captured by the arrest of four members.
The defendant was arrested after a shootout in sector 62.
“We have received complaints on Friday night where the complainant said that he was waiting near the Sector 62 roundabout to go towards Anand Vihar Bus Stand.
Four men in a car approached him and offered to drop it to Location, “said Ranvijay Singh, deputy commissioner of additional police, Noida.
He added that the victim agreed and ride a car.
“Within a few minutes the defendant took out their gun and stole his property, including money.
The four men underestimated him and threw them out of the car near the National Institute of Biological in Sector 62,” Singh said.
After complaints, the police team was formed and input about the gang was developed.
“CCTV recording from the scanned area to identify the car used in crime.
We found that the defendant traveled by Maruti Suzuki SX4.
On Saturday afternoon, we managed to lower them near the Jaipuria Roundabout in Sector 62,” the officer added.
The police have recovered all stolen goods and cash from the man they had jatuhi on Friday night.
