MUMBAI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has called mild rains for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar during the weekend while early next week there could be thunder showers.
The town recorded several pre-monsoon showers Wednesday this week and also weathermen stated this was due to the windsthat have been westerly to south west along the shore bringing in those showers.
This past year, the southwest monsoon came from town and the remainder of the country on June 14.
The standard onset date to its monsoon in Mumbai is June 11.
On Fridaythe minimum temperatures recorded by IMD Colaba has been 28.
