Lightning claimed 19 living in Raj, 11 killed near the Amber fortress

Jaipur / City: Lightning claimed at least 19 living in all states on Sunday, including 11 in Jaipur, when Southwest Monsoon entered Jaipur, Dholpur, City and Jhalawar regencies nearly three weeks after arriving in Rajasthan on June 18.
At least 17 people were injured in all states in the relevant incident.
Eleven people were killed and 12 others were injured near the Amber fortress when lightning hit them on Sunday night.
The team from the State Disaster Response (SDRF) and the local police immediately swung into the action and hurried into the hospital.
“So far, 11 people were killed in the incident of lightning in the Amber fortress.
The majority of the victims were locals.
Also 12 people have been injured.
They were sent to the Wing Trauma Hospital SMS,” said Police Commissioner Anand City Srivastav to TOI.
Rescue operations that took place near the Amber Fortfour Children, who worked as a shepherd in a village under the area of ​​the Kanwas police station in the city, and a young man in the Sunel area in Jhalawar District was killed by lightning.
In the Bari Dholpur area, three children were killed after lightning hit.
“The fourth deceased in the city has been identified as Radhe Banjara (12), aka Bawla; Pukhraj Banjara (16); Vikram (16) and his brother Akhraj (13).
They were killed in a place while five others suffered burns injured,” the police station said Kanwas Sho Mukesh Tyagi.
A 23-year-old shepherd identified as Tara Singh Bheel was killed after lightning hit him when he grazed in Laligaun under the Sunel police station in the Jhalawar district.
In a separate incident in the village of Chacana Jhalawar, two small girls were injured in lightning.
The Chairperson of the Ashok Minister Gehlot relieved the death of children because of lightning in various parts of the country and announced Ex Gratia Rs 5 Lakh to families who died.
