Lightweight Rain cools Gurgaon, more in the store during the weekend

Gurgaon: Residents woke up to a pleasant morning on Friday, with a minimum temperature recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
Several parts of the city received lightweight rain and the intermittent drizzle accompanied by strong winds during the day dropped the level of mercury with five notches.
Light but sporadic rain has maintained low daytime temperatures that settle at 29 degrees Celsius, while the humidity index is relatively oscillating between 91% and 92%.
The IMD observatory in the city only recorded rainfall ‘trail’ until 5:30 a.m., but data from the district government showed that Gurgaon received 6.5 mm rainfall during the day.
There is no large water hole witnessed in the city and the traffic is mostly still not affected due to rain.
However, several regions, including sectors 52, 56, DLF-1, faced blackouts for hours.
“Light rain until it tends to continue for the next 2-3 days and there is a possibility of intense rain on Saturday.
After that there will be a gradual decline in rainfall activities in the region.
Gurgaon has received light rain for the past two days which results in A sharp decline at daylight temperatures on Friday.
The maximum temperature is likely to remain below normal for the next two days.
“said an IMD official.
According to Weekly IMD estimates, the minimum and maximum temperatures tend to slap around 25 and 31 degrees Celsius, on Saturday.
City air quality is slightly increased but still in the medium category.
Aqi readings as a whole in 167 compared to 188 on Thursday.
Delhi received a light shower on Friday with a cloudy condition that brought a maximum temperature of up to 32.8 degrees Celsius – one degree below normal for now.
Some parts also recorded intense but short rain spells in the morning.
Safdarjung, Pangkalan Delhi station, recorded 11mm rainfall between 8:30 a.m.
and 17:30 on Friday.
Until 8:30 a.m.
on Friday, Safdarjung Delhi’s observatory had just received 63.2mm rainfall, as opposed to a normal sign of 176.5mm for this period.
This put Delhi at a 64% deficit this month.
