Nagpur: Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has planned a large Covid vaccination drive on the polio campaign path from November 20 to achieve the last distance coverage.
Zilla Parishad has deployed a team in the countryside to reach people who are not vaccinated.
This initiative is part of the drives of Har Ghar Dastak which was launched in accordance with the orders of the central and state government.
Although various steps were carried out to provide vaccination incentives, the authorities did not leave anything to reach every citizen in the district.
Both local bodies have made vaccinations have to enter public offices, to utilize government schemes and use public utilities.

He further said that all civil health staff will be deployed together with the Malaria and Filaia team.
“Breastfeeding nurses have also been asked to help us volunteer.
Asha workers will also join.
About 550 to 600 each team has health workers and non-clinical people will spread in the city.
A medical officer will oversee 10 to 15 teams at each area, “he said.
NMC has sufficient dose and has been guaranteed to supply continuously to meet the requirements.
Joshi further said that the warning about stopping the first dose of free from December 1 has helped increase vaccination.
“We aim to complete the first dose in this drive but if someone maturity for the second dose will also be given.
Then, citizens can visit the second dose center,” he said.
CEO of Zilla Parishad Yogesh Kumbhejkar said they had reached a low-performance block at the district health worker level.
“We hold camps in different rural places.
Depending on the needs of a certain area, the camp will be extended there under ‘Har Ghar Didak’,” CEO said.
According to Kumbhejkar, the industry, housing society and educational institutions with high amounts that are not vaccinated or the second dose is being borne.
“All departments are coordinated and instructions have been given to the Covid task force about Taluka to help health workers.
We aim to complete the backlog as a whole,” he said.
