Lime plan with the head of the industry to continue operation: Maharashtra to the collector

Pune: Chief Secretary of Sitaram Kunte on Saturday said all collectors have been directed to sit with the Head of Industry and compiled a plan to continue work with the appropriate Covid protocol in the midst of the threat of the third wave so that economic activities can take steps.
Kunte said representatives from various industries must discuss this issue with the Regional Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).
“The bottom line has been withdrawn by the state, but local authorities must enter the protocol, depending on the local situation,” Kunte Toi said.
“The staggering time for surgery or bio-bio-bio, which minimizes the risk of covid infection, must be adopted by the industry.
This must be the basis of the plan.
Collectors or DDMAS understand local conditions better and they must develop a plan to follow the state level guidelines, “Kunte said, adding collectors must talk to each industry on the final plan.
The Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray, in a meeting conducted recently, has directed the district collector to map plans to ensure the industry can operate in the midst of the third wave of the possible pandemic Koronavirus.

“There is a need to achieve a balance between the two.
While adequate protection must be taken, economic activities must begin.
It is very important for the state government to provide effective working hours to small traders.
At present, most of 7am to 4pm.
This must be revised, say, starting at 11am to 17:00 or 6pm.
For the industry, sufficient steps have been taken.
