Gurgaon: Some members of the Bar Association have objected to the name of Gurgaon Mla Sudhir Singla looking for the list of Empanel Government lawyers.
They showed that because Singla was a legislator, she could not hold the “office profit”.
MLA, a lawyer by the profession, said he would pull his name from the list.
The notification issued by the Ministry of Justice on July 29 includes 122 lawyers to represent various government entities in the Gurgaon District Court.
Although there are 100 lawyers for the main gurgaon court, 22 are for sub-courts in Sohna and Farukhnagar.
This lawyer will represent various boards, corporations, universities, cooperative banks and other autonomous bodies.
The objection against Singla began when the government said the 2015 lawyer list and issued its own list, which had MLA representing four entities.
“After consideration, the government has decided to accept the Memo Advocate-General proposal for all the old advocate panels issued in 2015.
After removing all existing advocate panels, the government further decided to issue a new one.
A list of advocate panels,” said the letter.
The name of the Singla number in Serial Number 84.
According to the list, it should represent Haryana Agro Industries, Power utility, Shiksha Pariyajna Parishad School and the Corporation of Seed Development.
“He could not hold two government offices.
He must pull his name from the lawyer panel or hand over the legislative membership,” said the Association Bar member.
Singla said it would mistake it “office profit” because she did not get anything with just in the list.
“In the list of Emprenelel’s lawyers do not tell you to get monetary benefits.
Lawyers like it only get remuneration when they appear in court for hearings.
I will draw my name,” Mla said.
