Rajkot: A large controversy erupted in Jamnagar after members of the right-wing group put up Bust Assassin Godse Nathuram Mahatma Gandhi, who was destroyed by Congress members a day after establishing.
Members who identified themselves as Hindu Activists Sena installed laws in Ashram in Morkou’s village side by side with the city of Jamnagar on Monday.
They even raised slogans who called children.
However, local Congress leaders led by City Party President Virendrasinh Jadeja destroyed the breast on Tuesday.
Hindu Sena and Congress filed a cross complaint with the police station A-Division Jamnagar.
Clothing members claim that they have demanded place from Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC) to install Bust Godse a month ago but JMC did not respond to their application.
Pratik Bhatt, President Gujarat Hindu Sena, said “Godse was associated with a Hindu ideology and he struggled for the Hindu nation.
When our request to establish his breasts was not heard, we did it himself on his birthday of his death.” In his complaint, Bhatt named Jadeja and someone named Dhaval Nanda.
“We are a follower of Godse ideology.
The defendant damaged the breast and threw a turmeric and cloth where RAM Shree was written with garbage.
This action hurts our religious sentiment,” he said.
Meanwhile, Virendrasinh Jadeja in his complaint against Bhatt, Dhiren Bhanushali, Bhavesh Thummar and two unidentified people, allegedly establishing the GODSE statue was blasphemy action.
“They installed Bust without taking permission and insulting those who believed in Gandhiji’s ideology.
This action creates conflict, hatred and hostility between people,” said the complaint.
In both complaints, those named were ordered under the relevant IPC section including 153 (a) for violations to promote disharmony, hostility or feelings of hatred between different groups with religious reasons, residence, language, etc.
and do perredadial actions for maintenance of harmony.
Jamnagar Deputy Police Inspector J S Chavda said, “We have registered both fire and this problem is being investigated.”
