Wardha: “Culture preserved by language,” repeat quotes Dr.
Babasaheb Ambedkar, India Vice President M Venkaiiah Naidu on Tuesday remembering ‘Nai Taliim’ proposed by Mahatma Gandhi in Wardha in 1937 who put the emphasis on making maternal language as a medium of teaching Mandatory education and training skills for students.

He further observed that even after insisting on Hindi, Mahatma Gandhi understood the sensitivity of every citizen with his mother’s language.

Naidu said it was expected from a civilized society that the language must be gentle, cultivated and creative.
“Let’s give freedom of our expression with the language personality and discipline,” he said.
He appealed to young people to rise above the caste, trust, gender and region and work to strengthen the national unity.
He also called Wardha land inspiration to the nation because he witnessed the philosophy of the life of Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave.
Praising the achievement of the MGHU, Naidu said the university had provided many famous works of Hindi Literature Online, helping readers sit in far countries accessing authentic Hindi literature.
In this context, he wants that other Indian language literature must also be available online with his Hindi translation.
Describing our linguistic diversity as the power of the state, vice president urges to strengthen the thread of this unity in diversity and emphasizes the need for enhanced dialogue between Indian.
He suggested the University Language Department to play an important role in this matter.
“There must be constant contact and intellectual dialogue between the University’s Language Department,” he said.
The Vice President also directs university authorities to provide facilities to learn other Indian languages, so Hindi students can also learn other Indian languages, because MGIHU teaches foreign languages such as France, Spain, China, Japan etc.
