Patna: At least six people enjoyed a liquor party managed to escape from a hotel in Patliputra Colony here, Sunday after the hotel keeper allegedly made a delay opening the main gate.
Police personnel must wait outside the gate for a long time.
The hotel guard, Mukesh Kumar, was then arrested.
The police recovered five bottles of the IMFL which were smuggled from the hotel room.
The police stormed the hotel at around 12:30 a.m.
after receiving information that the liquor party was set there.
Sho Patliputra Police Station Satyendra Kumar Shahi said those who enjoyed the liquor party came out of the back door.
“They then jumped over the hotel suburban walls that were high and escaped.
Guards and two hotel owners – Abhishek Kumar and Kunal Kumar – have been named in Fir.
Abhishek and Kunal have not been arrested,” he added.
