Hyderabad: The state government on Monday is allowed for hours extended for liquor stores to sell liquor.
In directives, the Excise Ministry said the license holder could run their business until midnight.
Permission is given considering the new year celebration.
Bars, hotels and restaurants and events are allowed up to 1 morning.
Previously during a press conference, Minister of Health T Harish Rao, said the Covid-19 situation in the country was very stable.
“The union government has recently asked the countries to impose restrictions if more than 10% and 40% of the beds in hospitals are occupied by Covid-19 patients.
We are not where near the situation because of the current level of primitification only 0.6% in the state.
“The Minister of Health said that the state government was sensitive to the appropriate behavior of Covid and on the need to take vaccines.
“We face criticism for imposing a fine to people who do not wear masks,” he said.
