Patna: More than 800 people were arrested and 85 vehicles were confiscated during a special drive launched by the police after Hooch’s death recently.
More than 22 liters of liters of liquor and foreign countries also recover.
The press release issued by the State Police Headquarters on Thursday stated that at all 823 people were arrested in 1,313 attacks on charges of consuming alcohol or involved in the supply of illegal liquor in Gopalganj, Bettiah, Samastipur, and Muzaffarpur.
Four districts recently witnessed death due to consumption of false liquor.
The source said a number of Rs 8.70 Lakh was restored during police operations in these districts.
In addition, 486 cases related to violations of the Law ban were submitted.
The police also destroyed 32 liquor brewing units which were mostly carried out in remote areas.
At least 59 people have died in Hooch cases in the state in a range of a month.
