Patna: The roadside “Dhabas” along the highway, small restaurants in urban and rural areas and hotel and banquet rooms in Patna district will be under regular supervision to ensure the implementation of the total effective prohibition in the state.
Commissioner Division Patna Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, who held a meeting with hotel management, lodges and banquet halls on Monday, said DM and SPS from five other districts under the division – Nalanda, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohas and Kaiur – have also been asked to hold Similar meetings to ensure that liquor is not served in any place on behalf of hospitality.
The meeting was attended by IG Sanjay Singh, Patna DM Dr.
Chandrashekhar Singh, SSP U K Sharma and other senior officers.
Agarwal said DMS and SPS had been asked to form a team for surprise attacks in villages and urban areas to check the delivery of liquor houses.
He also asked SDOS and SDPOS from all Patna sub-divisions to hold such meetings in their area and direct the hotel and a wedding place to install CCTV cameras at all important angles.
While overcoming representatives of the hotel hall and banquet, Agarwal directed them to conduct training or briefing sessions for their employees so that they could not be lived into illegal actions to deliver goods that were prohibited, especially, for the guests.
Agarwal told this newspaper that actions against customary violators were taken.
“Different hotel authorities have assured full cooperation administration,” he added.
Like many banquet rooms and restaurants have emerged along the important highway far from urban areas in Patna which attracts a large number of people to parties and gather, agrawal asks SDOS and SDPOS to keep this place cover.

“With the start of the wedding season, all the banquet rooms and hotels watched many guests, including many of the other states.
