List of actions to overcome Covid 3 waves: HC to Bihar Govt

Patna: Division bench from the Patna High Court on Thursday searching for replies from the state government in the steps taken by it to overcome the possibility of the third wave of Covid pandemic.
It also asks the state government to present reports of wise district medical infrastructure.
The bench consisting of the chairman of Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice S Kumar, hearing the petition submitted by Shivani Kaushik, Gaurav Kumar Singh and others, also asked the state government to provide details about current vaccination status against Covid-19 and the number of active cases and Active amount.
The court has asked the Head Secretary to submit Affidavit against all problems in the next hearing that has been scheduled for July 26 along with the Affidavit counter providing complete information about Esic-Bihta Hospital, which is converted to a dedicated hospital Covid.
, Esic-Bihta Dean and the State Government should present complete information about the strength of approved beds, labor (doctors, nurses, girls and security personnel), other medical equipment and infrastructure in the hospital.
However, they failed to give their delayed information during hearing on Thursday, because the trial of this problem was postponed until next Monday.
The Petitioner’s advisor, Nikhil Singh, said the state government had to reply to the Covid-19 daily case and the status of medical infrastructure in the district.
“The state government failed to submit counter-affidavit on Thursday.
So, the court has asked them to submit it on Monday.
The court also said the state government should notify it earlier than wasting court time,” Singh added.
According to the source, against 247 breastfeeding insurance positions at ESIC Hospital, only 56 are filled.
Likewise, there are 21 and 118 post sanctions boys and housekeeping staff, which are only nine and 50, have been filled.
The court also heard the petition to increase the honorarium of doctors back on contracts in the state.
After hearing this problem, the court directed the main secretary of the Ministry of Health to make decisions about the representatives submitted by the doctor on the contract.
