Hyderabad: Pandemic experts have registered more than 100 symptoms related to Covid-19 including post-Covid-19 recovery in the first step to improve understanding of viruses and better care.
Symptoms range from simple headaches to lose male fertility while guillain barre syndrome to nightmares, and palsy face to lose short-term memory and bone damage, they said.
Covid-19 is the first disease to show off symptom scores that can survive even after total recovery and up to six months to one year.
Opportunistic infections such as black mushrooms (mukormycosis) and pneumonia are just the tip of the iceberg pandemic, health experts show.
Incidentally, Hyderabad was part of an international cohort study which included dozens of cities spread across 56 countries where it was revealed that long-19-19 patients suffered symptoms that lasted up to 203.

Some symptoms of Ranganadham have been registered are the loss of odor, a sense of decrease, barre guillain syndrome, fischer miller syndrome, a drop of foot, muscle pain, cramps, fatigue, interference in paresthesia (pin and needle sensation), numabness, palsy,, visual loss, disruption eye mobility, encephalopathy (brain damage), encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), stroke, epilepsy, meningitis, melitis (spinal cushion infrastritis), ataxia (neuro problems), sleep disorders, depression, drowsiness, headaches, memory loss, confusion and mental obscaracy.
Dr.
Roya Rozati’s fertility expert from the MHRT Hospital, told TI that Covid-19 had been found to affect fertility levels, especially in men.
“Young men are at a higher risk because they are at the age of children’s shedding.
The Pandemic virus affects their ability to reproduce,” Dr.
Roya said.
Senior doctor Dr.
Luqman Ahmad Khan said he had found more than a dozen symptoms in the patient he was treated.
“Long Covid-19 is a variable in nature.
I have the most common symptoms such as extreme fatigue and cannot focus or concentrate, regardless of smell and taste loss.
Many symptoms of the psychological impact of Covid-19 troubled,” he said.
Dr.
Chetan Rao Vaddepally, Pulmonologist consultant, Yashoda Hospitals, has registered around 30 symptoms including the multiorgan effect.
“Covid-19 hits most, if not all, body systems include heart function, lungs, kidneys, skin, and brain.
The multiorgan effect can also include conditions that occur after Covid-19 such as multisystem inflammatory syndrome and autoimmune conditions,” DR Chetan Rao said.
