Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has decided to continue the existing process to prepare a list of entrance rating and short candidates who qualify to enter technical and pharmaceutical courses in the state.
Following uncertainty about evaluation plus two students with CBSE and ICSE boards, the commissioner of the previous country entrance asked the government to consider the entry test score just to prepare a rank list.
However, the government took the waiting policy – and to decide not to damage existing systems that consider signs obtained by students in the qualification examination as well as preparing a ranking list.
“The decision to continue the existing system has been taken considering the declaration of the results by CBSE and ICSE boards,” said the Higher Education Minister R Bindu on Thursday.
The government’s order in this case, was issued on Thursday, directed the Commissioner for the entrance examination to follow the current standardization method of two values and prepared a list of last year’s technical rankings such as last year.
The state entrance examination for this year was held on August 5, in the midst of the Covid-19 emergency.
