VADODARA: Recent data from Covid-19 vaccination in major cities the country may have shown Vadodara in fourth place in the first dose administration, but the city has topped the list of two doses.
According to vaccination data until Tuesday, while letters reach more than 100% the first dose coverage, City stands four among city companies.
What data is not disclosed is that Vadodara has the highest ratio of people who take the second dose after taking the first dose.
Data revealed that 64.2% of people who took the first dose in the city also took the second dose.
Other major cities are far below 60% on the front of this.
VMC officials said that the second percentage of doses was calculated to take people who took the first dose as a base.
They added that Vadodara did not have a large migrant population like a letter.
“The target is only an estimate and not the right number,” said the official.
The source in VMC added that the second dosage compliance was high in Vadodara because personnel had been given the task of calling people who were due to the second jab.
