Ludhiana: Improved beliefs will make a last attempt to sell a multi-floor building in Rani Jhansi Road, rent it out, or rent individual floors.
After a series of auctions that fail due to higher reserve prices, liters have come out with new offer models.
The initial reserve price of Rs 197 Crore makes this building not attractive to old bidders.
But even when prices were lowered around Rs 157 Crore, nothing appeared to buy it.
When the chairman lights up Raman Balalasubramum joined in 2019, he even thought of moving his office there but the estimated cost of renovating RS 3 to 4 crore forced the local body department to reject the proposal.
It does not guarantee successful auctions after spending so much money.
Karga Balaasubramanium said: “We don’t get a good response to this building at auction in the past, so after trying a number of things, we come to the conclusions we can try leasing out property, if we get good interest.
The government has agreed to this idea But we will also try to provide this rental building and, if possible, sell it.
“Buildings with double basements and 77 units for restaurants, banks, showrooms, shops, and penthouses now are quiet places with broken window glasses, at night Day, street vendors take it to sell food, while visitors to the park outside.
Among the many tricks tried, the Chairperson of the Balalasabramaiium has proposed to develop it as a basement parking for the ghumar bath but the plan cannot take off.
In April 2018, Deputy Commissioner of Pardeep Agrawal, who later had additional allegations about the chairlighted chairman, had examined the building and planned to develop the jewelry market in it.
In 2013, the income tax department was offered for this office.
A few years ago, Deputy Minister of Punjab later, Sukhbir Badal, had proposed a downtown project, which should appear in the Ferozepur Road Main Office from Punjab State Power Corporation Limited after moving Powercom to this empty building.
