Erode: Police All-Woman Bhavani in Erode Tamil Nadu Regency on Tuesday arrested six people in connection with two small girls marriages.
On Monday night, V Ajith, 21, Kaveripatti near Thevur in the Salem and Shalini District (name changed), 17, came to the police station who was looking for protection from their parents.
They said they were married in a temple in Sankari in the Salem district on Monday.
“They told the police that they got a threat from their parents,” said Inspector Bhavani all ponammal police women.

Further questions revealed that the girl was married to K Kamaraj, 34, from Pudupatty in Salem.
The marriage took place at the Jalakandeswarar temple in Colathur on January 25, 2021.

Kamaraj and his parents Kuppusamy, 60, and Govindammal, 55, have assured that they will allow him to continue his studies, “he added Inspector.
The police asked the girl’s parents who admitted that they were married to Kamaraj.
The police also knew that Ajith kidnapped Shalini From Bhavani Bus Stand when he was on his way to Kovilpalayam Village with Kamaraj on July 17.
The police arrested Kamaraj, his parents and the girl’s parents to do a child’s marriage.
They also caught Ajith.
They also captured Ajith to rape the little girl under the Little – Pocso.
Kamaraj also faces charges under ACT Pocso.
