Rajkot: A teenager and his parents were arrested on Monday by the Rustic Polda Rajkot to leave a newborn girl on a farm in Paddhari Taluka last week.
The agricultural owner has found a girl on his farm in Nana Khijadiya Village and has told the police.
During the investigation, the police found blood-stained clothes and other items used in the delivery of children a few meters away from the baby.
The probe took them to a 17-year-old girl and her parents.
Parents admit that they have committed the girl’s delivery and left the child because they wanted to marry her.
“The girl was pregnant following her relationship with her boyfriend, but her parents wanted to marry her to others.
So, afraid to violate the alliance of parents who leave the baby,” said a police officer.
The police said that the girl could register a rape case against her boyfriend because she was underage and she had a physical relationship with her.
