Prasagraj: A little girl was found killed in her house in Harirampur Village under the boundaries of the Prayagraj District Police Station on Thursday morning.
SP (City) Dinesh Kumar Singh told Ti that unidentified killers had hit a heavy object on the forehead of the little girl who was killed when he fell asleep in his room on Wednesday night.
He further added that five family members were sleeping on a home veranda while the girl was alone sleeping in the house room.
He also added that the police had investigated cases thoroughly and investigations were carried out at all angles, including love affair.
SP said forensic experts had collected evidence because there was a small outgoing route on the back of the house.
The police suspect that unidentified killers may have approached and escaped from this route.
His family members told the police that they had no hostility with anyone.
The police, however, said that family members had violated SIM and cellular girls who were killed a few days ago when they found out about their affair with a local child.
Active investigation and a case is also registered in this connection.
