Chandigarh: National Commission for Scheduled Castication (NCSC) has asked the Head of Secretary and Director General of the Police Haryana (DGP) to submit a report taken (ATR) in connection with the rape of a 10-year-old girl in the Rewari district in Rewari.
The girl was suspected of being raped by seven boys, six of them teens.
While issuing a second reminder notification to the state government, Chairman of the NCSC Vijay Sampla on Monday asked the authorities to hand over ATR on July 30.
Information received by the NCSC from the news published at the time of the girl was raped on May 24, a group of children playing on the ground in Rewari disappeared after a while in a coexist school building where the seven boys raped the girl.
The crime revealed after the incident video, allegedly shot and shared by one or more boys, turned back to the area and reached the neighbor, who told the girl’s family.
Sampla said that the authorities had not sent actions taken on this problem even after the specified time period, when the notification was issued on June 24 and the first reminder notice was issued on July 12.
Although notification of fresh reminders has been issued for the Secretary of the Chief and DGP, the Commission has sent a copy of the notification to Deputy Commissioner (DC) and police supervisor (SP), Rewari and asked the authorities to see the problem.
