Thiruvananthapuram: Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) is heading for divisions with dissident leaders who decide not to reply to the notice of the show they have received from the party’s president.
Sheikh Party Secretary General P Harris and V Surendran Pillai met with the head of Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday and seek his support.
The leaders said they were the original LJD fraction and therefore they must be given recognition.
The main minister told them that would be discussed at the LDF meeting and resolved after that.
Meanwhile, dissident leaders clarify that they will remain in LDF and will not join Janata Dal (s), which is also in LDF.
The dissident leaders have served an ultimatum to the President of the State, M V Sheyams Kumar, that he must resign from the President Post party before November 20.
However, Shreyams Kumar held a meeting of the State Committee and issued a notice of notification to rebel leaders.
