LJP elects Paras its Own Chief; Chirag calls it’Prohibited’

PATNA/NEW DELHI: The divided at Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) was open Thursday with a single faction headed by Pashupati Kumar Paras formally picking him as the president of this party in its national executive committee meeting at Patna.
The faction headed by Chirag Paswan named the election”unconstitutional”.
A letter issued by Chirag reported a physical assembly of its national executive could be held at Delhi on Sunday to talk about all problems.
He’s minding the five rebel MPs headed by Paras by LJP.
Paras, the younger brother of former Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan, has been formerly recognised since the party leader of LJP at Lok Sabha and Chirag has encouraged the Speaker to examine the choice.
Former LJP MP Surajbhan Singh stated Paras was elected federal leader unopposed as no additional nomination was registered against him.
“Absolutely, 71 members expanded their service to Paras in the assembly,” he further added.
But, just four of those five rebel MPs were present in the assembly held in Surajbhan Singh’s home in Patna.
Samastipur MP and Chirag’s cousin Prince Raj was conspicuous by his absence.
Chirag stated that the meeting lacked minimum presence of its federal executive members.
